Role Overview
Providing legal support to different functions of Grameenphone on day to day legal issues to assist in the smooth running of overall business in a legally compliant manner.
Job Responsibility
Provide legal opinion, drafting and vetting of contracts and other documents of legal nature
Provide legal and advisory support to various departments of Grameenphone, as and when required
Assessment and analysis of legal risks
Legal research
Provide any and all other related legal services as the company may require from time to time
Maintain liaison with external counsel and ensure legal advice from them within the given timeline as and when required
Education and Experience requirements
Education
LLB (Honors) and LLM from a reputed university
Experience
Sound knowledge on corporate, commercial, contract, Telecom, Banking and IPR laws
Experience in providing legal support for retail and distribution channel management is preferred
Enrolled as an Advocate in the roll of Bangladesh Bar Council
2-3 years working experience in relevant field
Special Skill
Competency in typing in Bengali (with both Bijoy and Avro interfaces) is a mandatory requirement for this position
Capable in MsOffice Programs
Sound Legal knowledge and skills with excellent analytical ability
Able to work in a well-organized manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Dynamic, dedicated and capability to work under pressure
