Major Responsibilities
Determine customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information
Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements assessing new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes
Evaluate market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products
Formulate quarterly plans based on the annual roadmap and follow up its timely execution
Review the plan on an ongoing basis in light of current business environment, industry trends, customer sentiment and competitive landscape and make necessary modifications to align strategy with dynamic market conditions
Identify various acquisition and retention campaigns, so as to drive revenue in a systematic manner
Check feasibility of new products based on marketing research, consumer insights and develop value propositions based on these insights
Scan competitive activities and prepare counter programs accordingly
Give necessary brief to PR & Communication team with regards to new promotions and campaigns
Obtain a first-hand understanding of trends and business environment for SME segments through dedicated SME channel
Review channel performance through segment usage pattern; Identify the quality sales/acquisition trend
Take corrective or precautionary measures; Offer regional sales channel competition
Required Academic Qualifications
BBA
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of Product Development experience in Telecom industry
Required Knowledge & Skills
Strong business acumen
Sound understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Good knowledge of Market strategy development
Sound familiarity Brand management & Communication management
Knowledge of Channel management and Information and Resource Management
Hands on customer lifecycle management knowledge
In-depth customer acquisition and retention knowledge
Knowledge on M2M/IOT is an added advantage
